The connection between the palawa people and this land remains unbreakable and enduring.

I recognise past and continuing atrocities made against Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and that Australia was ​founded on the attempted genocide and dispossession of First Nations people. I acknowledge that colonial structures and ​systems remain in place today and I fight alongside the First Nations people in dismantling those structures.

I stand firmly behind the Uluru Statement from the Heart to achieve justice, recognition, and respect for First Nations people. I ​support the referendum to enshrine a First Nations Voice in the Constitution, followed by Truth and Treaty.

Nature is my teacher, my guide, my home and my heart. I ​believe the biggest problems we face are all rooted in ​disconnection from nature, from our natural state of being. ​All of my work is deeply rooted in reconnecting, deep ​listening and honouring the beauty and love nature gives to ​us.
